Nimrod’s has a rich history within the local community. Still owned and operated as a not for profit campground by the St Mary's Fish and Game Assc. Since the 1950’s Nimrod’s has been a gathering place for local community events, namely the Sportsmen’s Meet. These events featured various competitions including fishing, various boat races, lumberjack competitions, shooting and, of all things, Moose Calling.

Our campground has two levels with 60 sites (52 with water & electric). The lower level offers a lakeview and has 24 pull through sites and 16 back-in sites. We have 20/30/50 amp service. The upper level is more secluded and wooded and better suited for tenters. All sites are spacious. Seasonal rentals, caravans and group campers are welcome. In fact, all campers are welcome.

Nimrod’s is set on a beautiful lake which features some fairly good trout fishing as it is stocked yearly. We have some trails around the lake and access to all the beauty and adventure available in the Sherbrooke area. Beaches, golfing, Sherbrooke Village, St Mary’s river, Port Bickerton light house are just a few examples. The town of Sherbrooke is only minutes away, providing access to a few restaurants, fuel, a convenience store, banking etc.

Here at the campground you have the ability to use our fleet of 3 canoes and a paddle boat to explore the lake and/or fish. We have free shower facilities, washer and dryer avail for a small fee. Firewood for sale on site. Our washrooms are clean and tidy. Hope to see you down at Nimrod's Campground soon. We are excited to announce that we have a brand new playground on the way!!
